I'm not really being political. The OP said democrat fraud isn't getting attention on here, I simply pointed out it's more likely republicans would be committing fraud. That is all. I get it that republicans would "feel" offended, but that

Yeah, statistically, democrats are smarter than republicans. I must be smarter than average!

What? Are you denying Romnesia, or the lies that led to the Iraq war. Or Nixon's party. Or that the military-industrial xomplex and big oil is allied with republicans. Or Peter Norvig's analysis of who you should vote for http://norvig.com

The republicans are the party of liars. Who is more likely to actually commit these crimes? Republicans. Even the 4 votes thing you came up with is probably republicans spreading lies.

By that definition you could start claiming everything as blind luck. Why bother doing anything at all, let luck do the work.

I don't get that. It would be true if he just made a few trades, but the author claimed to be making 2000 trades a day. Over a period of months winning that wouldn't qualify as blind luck.

Yeah, but this isn't fix-it-in-mexico scam. This is potential med-tech that just needs big-money-mafia to make it rain.

The greatest group of political scientists? You're referring the founding fathers. Why didn't they institute proportional representation? Why did they have an electoral college? Why didn't they abolish slavery and institute women's vote rig

Are you saying it will never potentially be a cure? Maybe it isn't now, but with enough automated testing on mice or pigs etc. it will get to a mature point. This can also be parallelized, so maybe it can be done in a few months.

Why such drastic measures like giving up. As I said in another comment, too low a claim and people think it's not worthwhile, too high and it's crackpotty. How do I get to the right balance? Furthermore, I think the medical industry is full

I've made couple posts about it - including links - over the past week, still got downvotes. People are not realizing the unthinkable is actually thinkable.

I'm not saying it's available at your local walgreens. I'm just saying, like robot cars were a few years ago, it's an underinvested/underpromoted breakthrough sitting right under people's noses.

I think you're making that mistake a lot of people in medicine make and what separates them from the tech industry. They're huge pessimists because they don't grok things like physics or computing and are trained/selected for their ability

Focused ultrasound could have been used to do cardiac ablation as well, though it's probably still in experimental stage. It's also noninvasive. In general, focused ultrasound is the cure to a lot of ailments but is criminally underfunded

That may true, but I was just trying to point out the attitude of essentially "stealing" money by monopolizing is not good for society. Just add by relentlessly innovating and you might end up better off than sitting on a pile of money. The

How about instead creating barriers by innovating faster. More Elon Musk and less Mark Zuckerburg. The world needs more inventors and less monopolists.

I'll have to disagree with you on that. Genetics is the wrong approach to dealing with all this and was a wild goose chase. Regenerative medicine is the correct approach, the body has all the mechanisms already to regrow itself, after all,

Legalization is the best way to end it. The network analysis needs to occur about politicians in the rich countries, how to manipulate them into legalizing drugs. It's a lot easier to collect data on them and it's the actual root cause.

Yesh, I'm trying to intentionally seed HN with machine learning, robotics, immortality tech (focused ultrasound, radiosurgery) to break the web filter bubble. PG and his crew should be getting into the AI/biomed bubble.

That's why I submitted it. The new thing is robots but the mainstream still thinks web is the new tech. As people shift to mobile, the ad revenue won't be there, google's already experiencing this. The smart money's going to robotics, as it
