If the inventor will please make a portable, electric burr grinder I would be extremely happy. This is the missing piece, for travelers and those who cannot otherwise own a proper burr grinder. Edit: came across this which looks promising

A tech question for Twilio: can you manipulate the SDP object?

It it were a full-screen steganograph it would need to be subtle as to not interfere with viewing. So could that be combatted by re-compressing with another codec?

Some of the APIs we use break often with Zapier (not Zapier's fault). It's easier to have direct integration and let the vendor deal with it.

Could you integrate it with Xero? (Rather than relying on Zapier)

Flash can be blocked, or not installed. If you are running a modern Chrome or Firefox, there is no way to stop this from running. (edit: apparently you can now block WebRTC entirely in Firefox, but Chrome has to be recompiled)

Adblockers don't catch everything, and also on some sites I am happy to support via Ads but I cannot stand being interrupted with auto-play video. I've really enjoyed the complete silence from ads in Flash format and am not lookin

I run the flash blocker extension in Chrome. So I expect, the next extension I'll be running is a <video> tag blocker with an option to enable on demand. (edit: known as "click to play" mode)

I recently started looking into building a similar web cam project using WebRTC, except sending ascii images over the datachannel instead of encoded video. So, I was pleased to see this project making it happen. You could easily implement t

Mexico City has extremely affordable and good quality fibre internet in central areas (where you would want to live anyway), and the food options are amazing. It's as safe as long as you stay aware of your surroundings and use a taxi s

I've recently spent some time in a small beach community, where they set up a Facebook page for the village. It's extremely active, from lost cats, local store offerings, small-crime reports and what that new restaurant opening in

We love Swagger. It allows us to have uniform documentation across all our APIs regardless of dev writing style. It's a simple plan we can all stick to. Plus it gives you real API access inside the docs themselves. We highly recommend

Netflix has a drama series that has a fairly realistic portrayal. For me, the crux of the show is how they have to maintain "normal lives" in the gender-skewed 50s after doing such critical, technical work they can not talk about

I feel similarly after almost 20 years of travelling where being a foreigner becomes an identity in itself. This follows me even when I return 'home'. A little sad not to be part of everyone's close knit communities however t

Absolutely, and I also make use of these when needed. But they cost extra money and for quick and dirty projects it's refreshing to not have to pay for privacy. We now live in a world of "real names" and "show me your pa

A recent Jim Jarmusch & Tilda Swinton film, Only Lovers Left Alive, was set partially in a decaying Detroit mansion as the perfect home and city for ancient vampires wanting a quiet home. I found it an interesting commentary on Detroit.
