Really? Another "just do X" comment? Again, great when it's an option, but not as common as your own experience might suggest.

I know what you're referencing, but it's not obvious to people who don't already know about it. And in a way, I think you did say something deep. Web developers often have no idea that problems like this were solved a long ti

I think it's silly to tell people what to do when you don't know what they're doing. For all you know, they could be generating code from a design tool that already does that static analysis. What's nice about Ada is you

Ada already does something like this. You can choose whether to enable runtime checks, fail to compile, or accept the risk. The purpose of C is to be easy to implement on new systems. You're never going to get a lot of traction adding

You paid the "convenience tax". Big expensive city, prices to offset shoplifting, and you didn't know where to go for cheaper product. Otherwise, prices are about the same. I've seen the same expensive deodorant in Europ

I think it's a northeast thing. But not everyone in the northeast knows it, either. You're more likely to know it if you have to drive for at least an hour for Thanksgiving dinner and you like to browse radio stations.

It's just a fanciful advertisement. It's not even much of a demo, for the reasons given by OC. They said it wouldn't work in real life.

I think it should be possible. First year is general math and science. Many people earn some of those credits in high school, so it's already effectively on an as-needed basis. Second and third year are the core engineering curriculum.
