After using GraphQL with code-generated Typescript types on the response, I can't imagine going back to REST and it's "hope and pray" the JSON looks how you expect it to look

What made you choose Hasura over Postgraphile? RBAC is a postgres feature, not sure if that would affect the decision?

I ultimately chose Postgraphile over Hasura. Mostly because the Postgraphile codebase seemed way hackable, written in TS/JS with a plugin architecture. I've tried some Haskell and that's just a whole nother world I don't

No idea why Benjie is getting down voted, SQL from a client is a bad idea, and writing billions and billions of CRUD endpoints is soul-draining. Postgrahile is the best of both worlds, providing a nice GraphQL interface on top of your datab

No I'm not agreeing with you at all. It's a great idea, and my clients and bank account agree with me.

I've been using Postgraphile along with Apollo Client with code-generated types for queries. When I change the db schema, I get compile errors in my client. Feels like I'm cheating

I considered Hasura but went with postgraphile ( https://github.com/graphile/postgraphile ) because it's written in JavaScript with a plugin architecture, meaning I can easily add my own plugins into the system down

Liberals are crushing it. Hillary Clinton opposed gay marriage in 2008. Think about that, how fast liberals are changing society. Liberals are absolutely crushing it.

I'm using Julia instead of Python/Pandas for a machine learning project and I'm happy with how things are going. Multiple dispatch is very cool. The project was previously written in R, but the performance and lack of program
