For some shitty services, like PayPal that don't give you a long-lived auth token, it is an every-time process. :| As expected, Schwab isn't the only perpetrator of bad two-factor auth. I think PayPal still DOES NOT support two-f

Definitely not more convenient for users in all cases. LinkedIn did something similar. When they told me to append my code to the end of my password and I click on the password field, my password would be wiped away so I'd have to type

It saves client engineers some small amount of time from implementing it on their end, but building these screens shouldn't take more than a few days. It's a terrible UX though. I wrote a blog post with some images about it if you

Quite shameful. Fortunately, I only use Schwab because of their awesome checking account that covers ATM fees. Definitely won't put more of my assets in there until they get their act together. I may be wrong, but I think user IDs can

Reminds me of how Game Freak used a map created by the people over at Serebii.net in their most recent Pokemon game. But they reacted in a different way: they were ecstatic. http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?637946

I remember getting a lot of shit from my California friends in college (I'm from New Jersey). Going on living 4 years in California and can conclude that California drivers are a different flavor of terrible at driving! Lesson learned:
