Kernel exploits would let someone bypass the lockscreen and access all the data they want immediately, unless I'm missing something. Why would you even need to disable the reboot timer in this case?

Why autosetup? Because it'll hopefully keep the build commands the same? Or are there more fundamental reasons to prefer it over cmake?

You can predict the first bit of sha256 with 100% accuracy with the following pseudocode: `sha256sum(input) & 0x1` What's the significance of being able to predict that bit with an ML model instead?

Indeed, it introduces subtle bugs related to indexing pretty often. At one point I had it autocomplete maybe 15 lines of code, and I trusted it because the code was all pretty easy and I had written a descriptive comment, which tends to hel

probably pytorch is very optimized to x86. It's likely using lots of SIMD and whatnot. I'm sure it's possible to get similar performance on m1 macs, but not with the current version of pytorch. Do you have enough ram? (not sw

I tested on a decidedly above average CPU, and got several words per second on the 7B model. I'd guess maybe one word per second on a more average one?

Perhaps try setting `OMP_NUM_THREADS`, for example `OMP_NUM_THREADS=4 torchrun ...`. But on my machine, it automatically used all 12 available physical cores. Setting OMP_NUM_THREADS=2 for example lets me decrease the number of cores being
