This is really fishy (the whole situation and the studio closure). First of all Irrational Games is (wholly) owned by Take Two. So only Take Two decides what happens with the studio. From the statement i guess they decided that is "les

I hate them . JS modules literally break any tool you throw at them. And the gains in code "modularization" aren't really that significant. Namespaces in JS are decent.

Most likely he meant generating page keywords/description using the product name and details. A very fancy way of putting it, but something very common sense from a business perspective.

No, they just use the keyboard. And use a mouse emulator (move pointer with the keyboard) on those instances where there's no kb shortcuts.

"I’m sick and tired of cramped websites that have tiny type and don’t use the whole screen well" It's own site doesn't use the whole screen. So pot...meet kettle.

So the character "Sherlock Holmes" is public domain but (some) of the novels are still copyrighted, right ? What is that good for....authors writing new "Sherlock Holmes" novels ? What is the point in having a "cha

Good. Windows 8(.1) is a better OS (faster, nice UI improvements). Time to move on. It's a bit amazing that 4 Microsoft OSes have nice big chunks of the overall market.

clink already works with ConEmu (enable it in settings/features). Look at chocolatey for integrating a functional Windows "package" manager. Good luck with the project.

Come on.....at least look at it before commenting. "start vendor/conemu-maximus5/ConEmu.exe /Title Cmder /LoadCfgFile ../../config/ConEmu.xml" It's ConEmu with a modified config file !!! Als

I'm all for ConEmu gaining recognition because it's a great app and Maximus totally deserves it. But why repackage conemu and call it something else ?!!!

There's no "native" development. It's just HTML and CSS. Don't know why we would need another "IDE" to write html but whatever....

This is bullshit. The article is highly sensationalistic and light in facts. Sounds more like the product of a sci fi writer than a article for a tech site.

While most of us have multi TB drives, it's still a bit "wrong" to see that the "minimalist" clients have +25 MB install kits while utorrent 2.2.1 is still rocking in 300 kb. Just saying...

If you go down this line of thinking, you can only trust the code you wrote yourself. Having a couple of dudes publicly recognizing that they wrote TrueCrypt doesn't actually solves anything.

Why is so important to "know" who is behind TrueCrypt ? They publish the code and you can inspect it and build it yourself if you don't trust the provided binaries.

Android is "open" because there's a lot of GPL code in there. And the irony is that with all this "openess" is still the most fragmented OS out there. The whole situation is ridiculous.

Do you have the "master password" thingie in Chrome ? Anyway...this is what happens when you optimize for "usability" over security. Microsoft used to get a lot of flak over this.
