Most, I think Debian has patch to be disabled at runtime via sysctl. The reason is that most containers or sandboxing techniques are root only unless you mix it with user namescapes. So most container or sandbox software use suid(firejail)

They could done what bwrap does where there is a special CMD flag that tell program to read the flags from FD. So in flatpak which generally has to give a few kbs of flag to bwrap just pass this via FD. Now whether this works on all support

I usually use vim on windows but if that is a hassle, there is KDE Kate. That is a very good editor. Definitely one of the best editors if you do not care about plugins that much.

Basically xpcom and XUL can be treated in same way as gnome-shell. XPCOM was a object model from the 90s and had several legacy issues. On top of that was XUL and XBL were obselete by improvements to web api and was badly mainatined. Like G

The law includes data request for owner and IP of VPSes too. So maybe no logs but the IP address and the VPS will be tied to your real identity anyway so no improvement

I do agree alot with the article. One of the major use case SPAs was optimization hack that service worker can do easily. Service worker are like proxy middleware and are capable of some nifty tricks. Since I am not in web dev that much so

Arch never switched since doesn't enforce the default sound server. You can choose any unless dependencies force use to use one. The official arch installer even prompts the user to chose between pipewire and pulse on install.
