The mutable state can be helpful. It is sometimes helpful to be able to change an app’s config without having to restart it. Ingesting the envs on startup into a class removes this ability.

I am too. I was disappointed when Joe Rogan signed an exclusive deal with Spotify. I’m not sure if people realize this but a podcast is just an RSS feed to your audio files that you submit to a search index. Why would we want to centralize

People push and pull from one place by convention but it was designed to pull from anywhere. The problem is PRs, issues, code review etc has become centralized. As far as the code goes they just need to host all code at their own domain and

Remap esc to ‘kj‘ instead. It’s faster to type than ‘jj’ it’s on the home row and doesn’t require a custom binding. The sequence kj is rarely used in English or coding.
