Banks halt funds every day, when they close for business at end of day. ATMs are available but can be out of order or out of cash. Binance is open 24/7 and maintenance that requires downtime has to happen at some point

Never had a Nexus, but I had the Pixel 1, liked it so much I got another after I broke it (dropped it so many times, it was very resilient). Then updated to the Pixel 3a. 0 problems whatsoever and it's the best phone I've ever own

Agreed, makes no sense to me either. So they want to be a first mover with the right idea, but poor execution and eventually lose out to all other competition? Sounds like a great business philosophy.
