This is what’s so exciting about the Play date ( https://play.date/ ) - I have the hope it brings back that retro vibe, with a different input mechanic for a twist.

Atlassian (Sydney) is always hiring for Java and/or JavaScript. Great company, good compensation, plenty of room for growth. If you’re interested, or want to know more, hit me up - marcins at gmail

JavaScript object property keys are always strings, so technically it’s `arr[2]` that has the 2 coerced to a string.

That's probably something that belongs in `componentDidUpdate`, you'll have access to `prevProps` there to compare whether you need to trigger a new fetch. I don't believe that `getDerivedStateFromProps` should have any side-

I don't think you need it - since you're deriving state from props you can just derive from the new props and compare to the old state. At least I believe that's the reasoning.

Wish that an accessible real-time port was required here in Australia. Best I can do is download the 30minute interval data from my electricity retailer after the meter sends them overnight (or use other hacks like reading the blinks)

This gets challenging when you have solar export and a bidirectional meter. The light blinks for every _absolute_ kWh. That is, you don’t know if that was imported or exported electricity, so you need additional information. One approach I’

That's not really a great reason - there were lots of alarm clocks and docks with the 30-pin connector (and still are if you go to a Hotel!). That said, I'm not sure why Apple went with Lightning for their mobile devices instead o

Yes, all product names are now consistently cased as part of this rebrand. Jira, Statuspage, Fisheye, Hipchat and Sourcetree (the latter 3 all being CamelCased before)

Sort of, they’ve effectively abandoned the trash can Mac Pro and are working on a whole new design: https://daringfireball.net/2017/04/the_mac_pro_lives That’s the only real instance I can think of though!

Bitbucket Server developer here. I'm not sure if you're on Bitbucket Server or Cloud, but either way >5 minute merges doesn't sound right. Have you tried creating a support ticket?

I am assuming you're on OS X? You can right-click on the input field, and under "Spelling & Grammar" you can turn off auto-correct. This is an OS feature, not something HipChat specific.

You can however message multiple hosts, and if they can accommodate you then they can "invite you to book" which is a 24h window for an effectively instant booking.
