   with generators its easy to create your own `do` like function .. first from google search https://github.com/pelotom/burrido I haven't actually seen anyone use this in practice though.

   You seem like the exception rather than the rule.. I don't think anyone is suggesting people not follow their passions, its more about people not knowing what they're getting themselves into most of the time.

   Sonic pi is great, I used it live as part of a noise / ambient music project I do. It really feels like just using a DAW but having more control and much faster. Unfortunately I fell off it, because I struggled with Linux audio so much
