Curious what is your sales process like. While these universities obviously would benefit from your solution, I also wonder to what degree they’re willing to move to a bette system, and if they’re willing to do it a a pace that works for yo

Existing laws? Surely intentionally hacking a cars navigation system is a crime in most (all?) states. Analog would be that I can’t go around laying nails and thumbtacks on the highway.

Completely agree. There needs to be some concept of a marketplace that doesn't have monopoly power, and a list of "fair play" rules around those. The only difference between Apple's actions and 90's Microsoft is mar

You don’t need to pay any engineers to get behavioral tracking for your ads. This feature is provided by an ad network like Google, the publisher (like WSJ) just enables it. Google sees 4% across their entire revenue, so it’s definitely wor

I don’t like to go meta, but this is the meanest response to a Show HN I’ve seen in a while. Almost every comment is a reason why it sucks or a random nitpick. If you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say anything at all.

Isn’t this obviously wrong because of density? Suppose I own 1 unit in a 10 unit condo worth $100k. Then a few years later the condo is demolished and rebuilt as a 20 unit condo, of which I own 2 units. I sell them each for $100k, doubling
