That's exactly it. Cancel culture as a term is used as a term to deride anyone bucking the system as this point. In case a)(this one), it's used to put down people who don't agree with singing a song, later we will see b) whe

It feels as if certain blocs are solidifying their grip for an upcoming event. Events seems to be accelerating and it's beginning to make me nervous.

I disagree, partially. We, (and I mean you guys as I'm an amateur here), can help build tools to inform and help spread information. Parse information in a way which helps people fighting climate change is helpful.

I'm not familiar with the example you gave, but what if it's just an old school tax write-off? "Buy" something for crazy value, whilw knowing the buyer, then later get that money back and claim (some strange tax law) it

Okay this may come off as naive, or even completely wrong, so give me a break but... What if you tied the price to a trade able good. Eg: $x USD in BTC. While it completely negates the idea of BTC, allows you to list an item for sale at a s

I agree, in hospitality you see a lot of passionate chefs, most burn out due to working insane hours as they are passionate about: that dish, that prep, that service, that function, covering and ensuring that service runs when the shift is

Don't forget our laws here in Australia. (I know you mentioned eyes countries, which we are, but I wanted to highlight this). Our laws are so damn barbaric in relation to security that it's scary. It's gotten to the point whe

My current wireless headset costs $10. My wife bought it on sale, cheap Chinese crap, but I'd prefer to go through 10 pairs in the next year than shell out $500. That price point is crazy

Nothing, wife, son and myself family dinner, video call the rest of the family. Maybe Goto the park a few times for my son. Too much empathy to risk someone's life being selfish.

While I agree with your ideals, I disagree on your argument. Money is plentiful, we need to stop hiding the fact that switching will cost us some money. Who cares, if we have a livable planet. I argue that it's time for some politician

I have zero faith that we will do anything productive. I am so disappointed in the human race, more specifically large businesses. We have known for a long time, the science is solid and being updated constantly, yet large companies don&#x2

This happens a lot in hospitality. Most chefs I know (myself included), set a timer, then go back to the job just before the timer goes off.
