maybe there is something to borrow from this situation. if you have tasks a,b,c to accomplish for client z, and they don't bug you at all, you might (having the same issue with focus) piss away the days on other things, avoiding tasks a,b,c

Setting goals together and have status updates. then you can have a record on what is achieved / not-achieved, realistic goals, need to work more to meet goals, etc. I would start there, then see how that improves things, or if you need to

genius idea, but I see in this situation it would not be possible since the software with perform indexing of a lot of data sources and require a few algorithms - which haven't been coded.

I will look into Quicken. As a sole proprietor in California, I simply use my social security number and schedule C of 1040. Is there a good argument for getting a business ID or even an LLC (aside for liability issues)?
