Restic's restore isn't parallelized at all, whereas its backup is. It should be straightforward to improve the restore performance. https://github.com/restic/restic/pull/1719

Hard to say - LO Base and Kexi don't have any web support at all. Perhaps https://github.com/formtools/core ? Or https://form.io/ is open-core but more polished (from the screenshots).

Yes, we do this for our release builds, including Windows. It does only remove the leading prefix (GOPATH) from panics, not the full file path. I don't think there's a way to remove the whole file paths other than replacing string

So is GO111MODULE. You just type `go build` and it resolves dependencies as part of the build. It's even one less step than `dep ensure`.

Why is a tradeoff between convenience-and-security being considered? It's a false dichotomy - Firefox and Chrome are secure-by-default and I do not find them inconvenient at all. Can emacs adopt their settings wholesale?

I wanted to know how well this compared to ffmpeg | base64 (or base{emoji}), but actually I can't make anything that sounds as good in as small a filesize. The FMT version is 2379 bytes of shell. Opus bottoms-out at 6000bps (even when

Another popular SQLite + Raft project is rqlite ( https://github.com/rqlite/rqlite ), but the goals seem slightly different (rqlite only uses distribution for fault-tolerance, not for sharding).

The very popular Gnutella/DC TTH algorithm was distinguishing between Merkle tree and leaf nodes for security/correctness in circa 2000, so it's not clear why Bitcoin (2009) left it out.
