   There's actually rather good browser integration for KeePass now, I just switched a few weeks ago from LastPass. Check out http://keepass.info/plugins.html (I use PassIFox and ChromeIPass via KeePassHttp)

    You can actually use ^V to insert control characters in vim, for example: `:h ^V^W^V^W` will search for CTRL-W CTRL-W. Now I just wish `:h ^V` would actually tell you about this feature.

    My Happy Hacker (pro jp) keyboard doesn't have a fixed cable, which is a nice bonus, making it even more portable. Unfortunately the HHKB lite versions seem to have fixed cables :(

    Nobody these days, but one of my all-time favorite games is Outcast[1], which used voxels for the terrain and polygons for smaller details. All it needed was a good CPU. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outcast_%28video_game%29

    I'd say comparing it with Go might be easier, it has 8 rules, and can be played on a board of any size. I like to compare that to the 10 commandments in "The Little Schemer" or the 9 functions in μLithp.

    I only found https://wiki.mozilla.org/SpeechAPI for the FF implemenation, looks like it has no Linux support either, but I only glanced at the patch they made... It seems to support recording for OSX and Windows at least.

    I was really mystified why Japanese kept calling a green traffic light "blue" (in Japanese, that is). It didn't really make sense to me until reading this, so thanks a lot.

    `nvidia-settings` is a commandline utility to control graphic card configuration. It's used to set things like SyncToVBlank, FSAA level, Vibrance, multihead positioning, and even GPU and Fan speed, since you can also query temperature. Hack
