Are you open to the problem being "you"? Not just you specifically, but you, me, and every individual who lacks the connection to self, morality, true knowledge? And with that, are you (and by extension), all people ready to do th

I agree wholeheartedly. The only remedy to bad information is more knowledge. With enough knowledge, all falsehoods fall away.

I don’t believe any ideas are harmful to “society” [1], but there are many that are “harmful” to the current paradigm of power. Some that come to mind: 1) The illusion of authority. The idea that some people have the moral right to do viol

Three serious questions: 1) do you believe we can stop it? 2) Do you believe we want to stop it? 3) What is the root cause?

That’s disheartening, but not surprising. > remember to ask culture questions for your next position. I will definitely take that under advisement. Any places you recommend I look into?

Having spent a decade building embedded C, its refreshing to see that I'm not the only one who sees the value in doing things well. Every single one of the steps here, though they may seem excessive provide immense value, not at first,

The idea of archiving machine learning models really struck a chord. It reminds me of Asimov’s Foundation, where the empire has collapsed and people don’t know how to use the crumbling technology and treat it as magic.

This is true. However, the people with the guns believe in the hierarchy so effectively the people doing the telling have the force of violence behind their words.

So bad people did bad things to stupid people using made up numbers, so people with guns should take other made up numbers and give them to people with guns, and tell the people with guns to make sure the bad people don’t do bad things to t

I think it’s almost impossible to do, because our worldviews are based on so many assumptions. Even the language(s) we use are ambiguous. For me to have this conversation, I’d have to start defining what consciousness is, what free will is,

I may be a little late to the party, but I'd like to offer a few thoughts. I write this as much to clarify my own thinking as to possibly help you. Preface: I feel at peace, and guided by inner purpose now. Experience has taught me tha

Fascinating, thanks for replying. For the record, I’ve seen plenty of bad behavior by people in cars, on bikes, and on foot everywhere I’ve lived, just not such a consistent flow past stop signs without stopping.
