Even free apps you download are technically purchased (for the price of $0.00). My purchase history still shows some free games I downloaded in 2013

That’s what I figured, yeah. I wish the Arch team used their news feed more often for things like this.

I recently switched back to arch, and when I updated my xorg a few days later, a few things started crashing (notably godot) with a “[xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue”, so as much as I love arch I definitely wouldn’t call

I don't see anything there about needing to be on the same filesystem , just that the path is of the form /home/$user/snap. It says that having a home directory that isn't mounted at boot doesn't work, but tha

As someone who is about to graduate from an undergrad CS program in the fall, apparently my curriculum isn’t reasonable? None of the classes I’ve taken, required or otherwise, have had us implement an emulator or an entire operating system.

They still don’t allow sexually explicit material. From their most recent policy: Visual depictions of sexually explicit acts (or content with an overt focus on genitalia) are not allowed on Tumblr. That includes pictures, videos, GIFs, dra

It totally makes business sense for them to not have to depend on Microsoft (who have their own gaming business) for their customers to play games, we all win when consumers have meaningful alternatives.

Valve's continual focus on Linux (SteamOS 1.0 was released eight years ago) is honestly incredible, Proton even sometimes works better than native Linux builds. Truly nobody else (in the gaming space) is doing it like Valve are. I sa
