I found SublimeCodeIntel to be unreliable, so I use SublimeCTags[1]. I've also bound mouse3 to navigate to a function definition in my User .sublime-mousemap file: { "button": "button3", "count": 1, "press_command": "dr

One thing that isn't really highlighted as much as it should be is that you can directly grab or source your opted-in aliases, eg. wget -q -O - "$@" https://alias.sh/user/[userid]/alias >> ~/.bash_aliases or, if you like to

I think in some cases, it would be better to explain why the PHP function was a bad idea to begin with, rather than letting people bring it's mess over to Python. For example, Python doesn't need dumb shit like nl2br() [1]. [1] http://www.

This is basically what the official F1 iPad app is like, which I happened to have with me at the Australian Grand Prix last year. It made a pretty big difference to actually know when various drivers were about to come past, and what was ha

I'm guessing the Google Maps app will be out in a month or two. Apple probably won't approve it right away, as a good quality Maps app would really make Google look like the hero, swooping in to save us from Apple's lesser service. Once the

A lot of the content on flipcode has found new relevance in JS/canvas games and demos where many classic software rendering techniques can be implemented on top of the 2d context. In many ways I find the challenge of implementing a renderer

Photoshop implements these features using vector masks, which mean you can scale your shapes after creating them without any resampling/pixelation. How many steps would it take to do the same in GIMP? It's not just about not grokking it, it
