    The payback calculation doesn't consider time value of money. They are paying down £40K today but the savings are realized over years in the future. But they implicitly assumed the discount rate on those savings to be 0.

    This is likely because for many young people the only source of news is social media. And they are unlikely to be targeted to see the political ads. Interestingly, occasionally I see political ads on Willow.tv which I use to watch Cricket.

    This sounds more like problem of HP’s dock than a Mac. Just because they said it is officially compatible with Mac doesn’t mean it is. Also, compatible with which Mac- Intel or M series? I use three different docks on two Mac Mini (M4 Pro)
