As a french, I wonder how this law will affect other car pooling services, such as blablacar. I use them quite frequently to move, as it's a lot cheaper than train, and you can chat with the driver.

option 1 is far from 'nothing else', since I cannot get HBO, without suscribing to a whole package. Option 2 will allow me to watch GoT, true, but I'd have to wait for the BR release.

Option 1 will force me to get a full channel package on Comcast. Option 2 will have DRM.

It's the illusion of security. The DRM contains the private key (because, well, you have to decrypt it, at some point). A motivated hacker will be able to get it, and decrypt the file for its own use.

Well, the first life that existed was maybe some kind of rna-like molecule with very little to no protection. Not even a cell. I do not think any of these could leave any traces, even a fossil.

behavior that have a negative impact on other people, such as stealing for drugs, comes from the physical addiction. And, I took the most addictive drug to illustrate this. What is the net negative impact that MDMA users, for instance, have

About 23% of the people that use heroin becomes addicts[0]. Most users are responsible, but since they are responsible, they won't impact you, or anyone, and you'll never hear of them [0] http://www.drugabuse.gov/p

If the objective was to help addict we would help them instead of throwing them in prisons. Furthermore, alcohol is not forbidden because some people are addict. Ultimately, I would add that drug abuse by itself is not the problem. The prob

even on 'valid' binaries, it still tends to mess up your terminal. I noticed that pretty quickly when I started working with Linux. Are there really people that work with cat and grep on binaries files ?

Basically, either you kill yourself, because you see yourself as unfig with society, either because you are too fit for society, at a point you are ready to die for it. The kamikazes are a good example of that.

no, you need to use the exec* family function to start a process without invoking the shell. Take care, it does not really start a new program. It replaces the current executing program. So, you will need to fork beforehand.
