Google will soon disable free access to legacy free domain mailboxes (G-Suite). When developing migration tool at inbox.eu it was major headache to implement migration from google. You either use web oauth2 login for each mailbox one by one

I found the issue: we had only 32 char limit for passwords which is quite silly nowadays as password are always hashed. We have removed this limitation and soon will release the change in prod

We self host everything ourselves in Latvia (EU country). Mostly in biggest data centre here (DEAC company). One of DEAC data centers is located in former Soviet nuclear bunker so your data is quite safe ;)

On the other hand I had performance issues when disabling ipv6 on gentoo based system for running docker (containers where starting in 1.5-2 seconds instead of 0.4 seconds). Enabling ipv6 solved those issues.

All servers are located in Latvia. We don't use cloud and all servers are managed by us. Discount is available for quite a long time. Maybe even year but can be disabled in near future but I do not know specifics

I am also phpstorm user but I use sublime text exclusively for quick edits or for projects I have not set up "proper IDE" yet as opening whole project folder is much faster in sublime text and there is no need for import or index

you can easily beat downloading hundreds of kilobytes of amp JS stuff from supa-fast and mega-optimized google CDN by not downloading JS at all or using js very conservatively
