Do you think it's moral for a big corporation to profit on pirating works from small artists?

I hate this so very much. Automating creativity is so gross. Never mind the fact that these models are trained on stolen artwork and texts.

What about all the training data that's no licensed for commercial use. It's probably quite likely that they scanned all of github's public repositories. Including many projects that don't give permission to use commerci

I've written ruby everyday for the past 5 years. I still cannot read an unless statement and understand it first time. Most of the time i'm translating it to `if !` anyway.

haha, if you can get an ESP32 to do image processing, then you're not an average hobbyist

yeah, definitely meant microcontroller. I'm targeting my statement at hobbyists and people working on solo projects. If you're some company that has the R&D budget to make it work with a beefy microprocessor, then that makes p

little bit faster at 20Mhz, but not that that would help much. No reason i see to use a microprocessor for image processing. You either go for an FPGA, or something beefier like a raspberry pi

when in-app and i close the browser i'm back in the app. this isn't the case if i'm redirected to a different browser application. That's quite a big deal

it's not the browser itself, it's the experience of staying in app when clicking a link. for example when going through a paygate that redirects to a browser. i don't want to leave the app, then come back in manually. with an

in-app browsers are a much better UX imo, solution is to make them safe, not get rid of them, as they solve a real ux use case

That's really cool. I'm rethinking my opinion :) I think it really depends on the positions that you curate. I tried todays one, and managed to get it in 5. so definitely not easy and makes you think a bit more like how players at

oh fair enough. concept still a bit weird for me. not sure why i want to be guessing suboptimal moves from a position. But i should play it a bit to see if i'm wrong :)

I dunno hey. It doesn't really make sense to have puzzles as a wordle. Because there should be one correct solution from the outset. The chess wordle to guess the opening makes much more sense in the context of wordle games https:&#

I don't think the solution to police brutality is to sacrifice the the privacy of an entire nation.

That sounds really dangerous. You're depending on circuitry built to protect the microcontroller, to limit the current. Sounds like a good way to kill the LED, but worse also kill the microcontroller. Also I'm quite skeptical at t
