Yeah I realized you are at a significant disadvantage by not interviewing in python especially when you get some problem that requires parsing some input. IMO it is worth it to spend a couple of weeks practicing python before doing any tech

It will be interesting to see how these companies evolve their business strategy once PE/VCs are pressuring them to IPO/get bought out. It seems like any customer that is large enough to have significant billing would just bring t

Yeah I agree, they are not incentivized to fix scaling/bots because they get a fee every time a ticket is sold. It is in their best interest for the ticket to be sold as many times as possible.

Have there been any reports of true severe clear air turbulence (where the pilot cannot control the plane) or are all of these cases not technically severe because the pilots were in control the entire time and it was just a bumpy ride? Ano

Would you ever go off on your own to trade solo or is that something that just does not work without a ton (like 9 figures) of capital and a pretty large team?

IMO their next big leap will be to get it cheap enough and integrated with enough real time sources to become the default search engine. You can really flip the entire ad supported industry upside down if you integrate with a bunch of publi

Does that mean dilute the cap table and then suddenly the PE shares are equivalent to like 4 employee shares or something? Or the PE shares have some special dividend that the employee ones do not?

They limited the fund size so employees frequently got distributions from the fund instead of just rolling over their investments. However, the distributions were still in the millions of dollars. They also got into some tax trouble with un

I know people who do/did work for a professional team. The justification is there is a huge line of people who want to “work in sports” so they can underpay the front office staff, and it is true. I knew a few people who stayed interns

Yeah I made a project with Supabase for the backend, Vercel for the frontend (literally all you do it git push and it handles deployments), and then Nuxt.js for the frontend. It was pretty simple for someone who had no frontend experience.
