See, I like the peer-to-peer idea, but if you're going to be centralized anyway (via the service), why not have your own sourcing resources as well? Team up with waymo or whatever self-driving taxi services are around, rent out a smal

There are a lot of options out there, but from what I understand most of the common FPV controllers you'll see around will work as a HID when connected to a computer over USB. I personally have a Team BlackSheep Tango 2 - though I have

Need to look at the site more in general to see if it's for me, but just a note - https://www.lowercase.app/pricing/ still references the subscription model.

Disabling the touch screen for cleaning is amazing - I've long desired a simple switch or button that would do that, for both touchscreens and keyboards.

Not sure if this was added or edited later, but the linked article clarifies: ROCK 5 ITX Power over Ethernet (PoE) Here we can see that the PoE module is not soldered in and connects using 8 pins which is quite nice. If you choose to power

I saw this technique described as "parking [with your car] facing downhill" on HN sometime in the past year. I haven't had much of a chance to implement it, but always good to hear more support for the concept.

Yup, skip all sponsored and ad content. I do the same on Amazon and ebay - even when the advertised product is _exactly_ what I want, and the best price available, I refuse to purchase from a sponsored listing.

Reminds me of default passwords on wifi routers a decade ago - ATT especially had a very identifiable SSID format (ATT###), and a default 10-digit password. That leaves you with (9,999,999,999 + 1 =) 10 billion[1] passwords possible, which
