Looks very beautiful. Almost like Yammer that's centered around projects only. Do you plan to add more features, or just want it to be a project status updater? For what it's worth, I find many project management tools confusing; always

Considering that even Microsoft has been embracing PHP, WordPress, and other OSS projects lately, I can't imagine you'll find a major technology company not using open source somewhere. Actually, I doubt you can find a major company in any

You can install Windows 7 from a USB flash disk (or external hard drive if you wanted to) with the Windows 7 USB tool. Works great and installs much faster than from a DVD. Even on my desktop, I haven't used disks to install software in f

I had never come across this interview before. Thanks for sharing! The section about education is especially interesting. Fixing education would fix so many parts of society. Amazing to read Steve Jobs' insight on this. He doesn't want

Windows Write and Windows Paint were included as part of an introductory special offer? Wonder if that makes their modern incarnations, WordPad and Paint, the longest running special introductory offers ever? At any rate, on very interesti

Boomerang for Gmail ( http://www.baydin.com/boomerang4gmail/ - currently in beta) works great for this. It's the only tool I'm aware of that lets you send messages at a certain time. See this review for more info: http://www.howtogeek.co

This was mentioned on Paul Thurrott's site in March: http://www.winsupersite.com/paul/mailbag/100321.asp#1 , and that linked to an explanation from 2007: http://www.wlanbook.com/free-public-wifi-ssid/ . Definitely not a new phenomena or

Sounds like a great strategy, and trying to target the early adopter crowd would definitely be the best way to get buzz going early. With it being 2 years before the next presidential election now, it'd be a great time to start getting it

Hmm ... maybe you should get an iPod Touch with a MiFi. Or, of course, perhaps Apple will eventually make an iPod Touch with a sim card like the iPad 3G. If it did that with the same data price plans, that would be really great.

I've felt the same way with my netbook. The older HP laptop I used to use was pokey, got about 1.5 hr. of battery life at best, heavy as lead, and hot enough to grill meat. Now I use a 10.1" netbook, weighs just under 1kg, only gets warm
