Certainly, but at the end of the day, they'll say: "well if we don't get $x then we will have to cut the force. If we don't pay our officers, they are just going to leave." What do you do then? You can fire people y

I don't know if that works... I mean, even if it's millions of $ each year that PD have to settle/pay, why does it hurt them? Aren't they simply going to pass that cost back to the taxpayers?

I always set a filter in my Swift google search so I only get recent content. It generally weeds out a lot of old Swift code/tutorials.

I suspect the statement is meant this way: in order to build credit (to buy a house later for example), you need to get in debt: you need to get credit cards, loans, etc... and "climb the ladder". Only then will you have a credit

Did you read https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15098152 from just a few days ago? Not that it should kill your plan, but perhaps it's another thing to take into consideration.

The photos themselves aren't locked in: they end up somewhere on your filesystem (that mimics the structure you see in LR). It's only the metadata and other photo edits that you would lose if you were to stop subscribing. And of c

I don't understand what you mean. You can get the Adobe Creative Suite with Photoshop, Lightroom, some other stuff I don't remember (don't use), for $10/month. Is that too much?

I think they already do that with bitcode. You upload the LLVM bitcode and it will generate the code for the appropriate architecture as needed. It's standard when you upload your app to iTunes. They don't use your source code for

Sounds like an Intellectual Property violation to me. You don't have to hide your IP in order to protect it: there are laws that deal with this.

I've heard this argument before and was wondering how it can be considered ok: 1) hacker steals massive amount of money from a crypto wallet 2) hacker cashes out and gets real money 3) network realizes the hack and "rewrites histo
