Every pizza joint around me has better deals when calling in. I can't imagine you've ever called a pizza place. It's a business transaction, there's no pleasantries on either side. It's not rude. They want to move o

It's the equivalent of local news on the spot interviews. They always look for the dopiest idiots because it makes for great TV. For some reason online they've gone the other way and try and use them as a legitimate source. The ha

Comparing one's individual waste to something like 1 cruise ship is like a grain of sand to a beach. It shouldn't be the focus.

I setup a wildcard for my domain and then use promos.Company@mydomain for anything new I sign up for which makes it manageable. Plenty goes to my promotional wildcard, odd things to the wild wildcard (junked), and only important direct emai

Save Page Now seems huge. It's a real bummer going to old forums for an obscure hobby or fandom only to find all the text and none of the images, music, etc.

There's some positions that I'm not sure that I want the candid honesty, or if I'd rather have the bliss of ignorance. No one wants to hear their surgeon on the record saying "I'm just an OK surgeon"

I had a very sweet boss who told me I'll be a CIO one day and I always told her I don't want to do that. Stress yourself to death for extra money? Why? Maybe if you're money or power hungry, but I'm pretty happy living a

I think it does for stuff like storage, but transactional and heavy data processing are still cheaper to do on-prem from what I've seen.

There is a weird segment of "imgurians" who comment only on imgur posts. They're a bit of a joke on some communities, like /r/repsneakers where users buy replica designer sneakers (aka fakes) and post them to imgur

The scale isn't different. Do you remember the insanity that was the Pokemon craze? How about a drug that's not dangerous at all and has never caused a direct death? Don't pretend that there's logic in creating all laws.
