Reading the background on this Sanger does bring his post on Wikipedia's "problem" into a new light. Perhaps he still has an axe to grind?

Actually what I liked most about SASS was the nesting of CSS rules. Since CSS has no inherent structure is can quickly become a mess. SASS stylesheets can mimic the HTML document's structure - which in turn makes finding a rule in a stylesh

I've run a server at home for years. Mostly for SSH access to my old catalogue of email and to do some remote coding when at work. It also served as a website host for small scripts.. Which is about all you can do on a home connection. For

Wow. I thought I saw a pig just fly past my office! I never thought this would happen - but then neither did Mr Haack.. Kudos to Microsoft for coming to join the party. Hopefully with a bit of luck I'll never be using or coding on MS stack

"it's ok to be rowdy when you're drunk, it's expected and it's understood" And here you've nailed the point that the OP of the first alcohol related post on HN completely missed. His repeated assertion of "drinking to get buzzed/drunk" was

Having been born in the UK and travelled to Europe a lot, jeez do we get it easy there. You can drive across ten countries in a month and have nobody blink twice. They see the coat of arms on the UK passport and just wave you through. The o

Absolutely brilliant. As a relative HN newbie, this really should posted about once a year. "Later still, in an effort to cash in on the popularity of skin diseases the language is renamed ECMAScript."
