I need Element to get threads for the slack use case, and Matrix to get an app as polished as Telegram, for the personnal messaging use case.

The author probably meant fusion. 70% of France's electricity comes from fission, but that's only electric power.

My bet is that "interior air is renewed less frequently" makes most of the effects. It doesn't look hard to test experimentally.

I'm building a website to document a gravel bike build, including links to buy the parts, price, weight, tips. I would be happy to know if this kind of open specs for bike builds exist already. It's far from solid and in French fo

If Android had a real browser with devtools (Firefox or Chrom*), with Termux and a command line editor like vim, Web developpement would be completely doable with Samsung Dex or a tablet.

My Surface Pro X currently displays 14:31. I'm in France, it's 13:27. I'm confused about how one can mess so much with this basic feature. It's not even a timezone issue !

Since I've bought the Surface Pro X, I can't go back to laptops with fans and poor battery life. The hardware is great. But Windows is still bad. It can't even display the good clock, as an example of inacceptable bugs. If I

Isn't a modern laptop mostly idle after loading the page (< 5 seconds) ? There would be a peak for the first seconds, then less than 10W for the rest of the reading time ?

In case someone wants to do the math again : 50W for 1 hour : 50Wh or 0.050kWh California : 187gCO₂eq/kWh according to https://www.electricitymap.org/zone/US-CAL-CISO -> 9.35gCO₂eq/h -> 0.16g/min -
