Yeah, but I think this an avenue we should peruse. If by any chance they copied anything from rk3399-linux, the whole thing should be released under GPLv2.

No need to actually do the re work(at least re the whole firmware), if you google a little bit you can find a leaked source to a firmware related to the modem in pinephone. look for mdm9607, mdm9x07, mdm9207. Also, some devs actually manag

I mean those benchmarks are mostly web server related. And it's pretty common in web servers to trigger the same code path over and over again all the time. There's a reason why people are not rewriting their java web server appli

Well, just like apple can auto remove applications that were pushed out from their app store, they certainly can install new application signed with privileged entitlements on your phone that can spy on you without you even knowing. Remembe

Honestly, concepts like functors are not that hard, they're way more intuitive than some of the OOP concepts when you get used to them a little bit.

I'm not sure if FHE is valid for any of these use cases, as far as I can understand, FHE machines/evaluators can operate on encrypted data, but can not derive any useful information from that data without the key. In all of the us

You can implement your own protocol + handler with the functionality exposed by the library as far as I understood. It doesn't really matter anyway since you have access anything firefox can do with webextensions experiments, which was

I was hoping I could get by without resolving to to GC, utilizing the rust allocation model(RAII with syntactic sugar and compiler helping out basically). If I "have to" write a GC because idris programming model requires is, I d

someone definatly can, but better programmers than I, have worked for years to get jvm, v8 GCs to get where they are. So I don't even want to try.

I was thinking of rust specifically because of GC, I don't know how to write a GC and I don't even want to try. But if I use rust, I won't have to because of rust's zero cost abstractions.

I wonder how much effort would it take to add a rust code generator. I'm guessing we can't add a C code generator because idris seems to need a garbage collector.

Use frida(frida.re) with something like objection to disable certificate pining at runtime. You gotta have a rooted phone, or you'll have to patch the apk with Frida library.
