Have a look at Opalstack [1]. They are a hosting platform for developers, and their tools include DNS hosting and email hosting. You can have your email hosted and routed in Germany. I use them for myself and about a dozen clients of mine.

I opted for a low-power FM transmitter fed by the music player daemon (mpd). Zero latency, always synchronized, works with any stereo receiver I want, plenty of clients to choose from (web-based, mobile, etc.) to control the mpd.

I use tinc VPN [0] to connect a bunch of separated LANs together, and a built-in configuration directive GraphDumpFile = /etc/tinc/network/graph.viz will generate a real-time network graph using the Graphviz DOT
