It is entirely possible to generate infinite loops in MTG. You can generate inifinite mana, damage, health etc, bring back cards from the graveyard etc. If you have the right hand and cards in play these are easy to do. I remember playing a

They will most likely use a much more light weight WM underneath (say Openbox) instead of Unity. If you don't have a WM handling some things and just start steam in BP mode your cursor stays around :P

You would get the same hardware support from Debian or pretty much any other distro. If they had strict control over the hardware I would say roll their own kernel, but they don't, so a distro like Ubuntu makes sense. But I don't

Yeah, I think Debian would of been a better choice. Personally I would say Gentoo, but that might be more work for them (although Chromebook switched from Ubuntu based to Gentoo based)

A little birdy informed me that SteamOS is based on Ubuntu, they didn't go into more details besides saying it was a dumb choice. I would assume its based on X.org since neither Wayland nor Mir are mature enough.

Just because an organization has members/affiliates in a government does not make that organization part of the government. Its like saying what ever the presidents frat was, is part of the government.

No, I this is Steam for Linux. The Steam Console was just a rumor, and that's all. I've had an employee (friend) verify these facts to me.

Kubuntu isn't on death watch, there was one person being paid to work on it, the rest was community support. The last version he didn't even work on (he was off working on bazaar or something) If Kubuntu does die it will be at least like 3

make sure you install g++-multilib so it pulls in the correct version. lib32z1-dev will work for zlib (need to create a symlink since it doesn't look in /usr/lib32). I don't see anything for 32-bit curl though :(
