People on forums like this seem to consistently forget that the average computer user doesn’t even know the difference between storage and ram, much less understand concepts like swap. And why would they need to? It would cause way more hea

How does that work with Time Machine? I once considered doing that, but I was worried that Time Machine would gobble the entire drive.

They have a patent for the mother 3 combat system in NA despite never releasing it here and it doesn’t expire until 2006. Nintendo sucks.

Municipal ISPs are banned in cities with populations over 50k by the state of Utah so it's not that great.

I got there just by searching directly and it works. I wish the reader mode had an option to make it work like a book though, web scrolling is a nightmare on this thing.

I find it to actually be a bit quicker paced than late last year, I am at least finding enough listings to conceivably apply to currently, couldn't say as much back then.

We're about a decade out from them changing from 30 pin to lightning and I still occasionally hear someone complaining about apple "always changing the charging cable" so I imagine it's actually going to piss off the gen

Meanwhile, Google steps on the rake of not putting enough battery in the phone every single time. I swear I've not seen a single flagship pixel review that hasn't mentioned bad battery. If it's bad out of the box, how bad wil

I had an early pixel and the Pixel 4 coming out and being ass was what drove me to iPhone. I wanted a phone with clean software, instant updates, and face unlock. The Pixel 4 being bad made me realize that the iPhone had all of those things

I figured me not caring between remote and in office would increase my chances, but it really doesn't feel like it has. I think the market is really bad right now.

I’ve done this about 50 times at this point with various strategies and have gotten ghosted on about 40, been told they aren’t hiring on 5, and told they had been fired on the other 5. I’m not sure this one works very well, at least at lowe

It doesn’t help that the Bolt is the worst EV on the market besides the Leaf, mostly due to price point. You also wouldn’t notice the charging being slow as much if you had a charger installed in your garage, cheaper too. All that being sai

When I fill up my gasoline car it claims 400 miles of range and I have never once gotten 300 before the needle hitting empty. (And I severely doubt the extra range on E is 100 miles…) Nobody is going after my car for lying about range…

The high five thing is a little weird, like how they’re finding joy in it… but yeah, it’s not a fixable issue so it would just be a waste…

Don’t you think if there was an intentional conspiracy to do this they would make it a little less obvious by not activating battery self destruct the day after the warranty ended? I’d have made it wait at least a month afterwards…

If you ask anyone who works in advertising they always say Apple has by far the "worst" targeting options. They display ads in the App Store but the data they use to track is usually not very great.
