Native iOS apps that use material design don't feel sluggish or laggy.

It looks fine, depending on your taste anyway, but there's noticeable scrolling lag and animations are stuttery the first time they play. Feels sluggish in general.

The low-codeness is certainly impressive. Judging from the sample app though, Flutter still has a long way to go in terms of native look-and-feel (on iOS at least).

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect someone applying for an engineering role to know the technical terminology of their field. Especially if they've been "programming for many years" as this person has.

I think cutting off an interview is fine if it's clear that it's not going to work out. It saves everyone's time. Maybe he could have been less rude about it.

I think you're referring to automatic switching, which is a much newer feature. That indeed is broken iOS to macOS. But the instantaneous switching works fine in my experience and has since the original AirPods.

> US justice system is probably more corrupt than some African countries, yet nobody is even talking about it. Plenty of people talk about this. It's a lack of listening that's the problem.

There's an option in Settings to use attention-aware features, like dimming the screen faster if you're not paying attention. I imagine disabling that feature would turn this off.

You can easily tell whether someone is smiling or not underneath a mask, and I think most people have learned to "smile with their eyes" to make it even more obvious. It's not that big a deal.

They absolutely can. They're obviously limited by passenger comfort as the other commenter said, but the difference between an Acela and a Northeast Regional in acceleration speed is obvious.

Is that a joke? Not every train stops at every station. And an advantage of high speed trains is they can accelerate very quickly.

Why? Apple makes everything from the hardware up to the apps on the homescreen. Why do you trust the hardware, the kernel, and the OS, but not the "apps", when all are made by the same organization? They're the same as any ot

The fact that "anyone can add a feature" doesn't excuse the lack of a feature existing _right now_, especially considering (as other commenters point out) accessibility is very difficult to retrofit. Not to mention, accessibi
