Many people simply don’t believe the use of GMOs is morally acceptable - whether or not they they are safe to grow or ingest is besides the point.

Nice to see another PDX company get funded, quite a big seed as well! Curious if you guys use proprietary graphing libraries or wrap something like d3 in custom skins.

Despite "un-opinionated" being one of their main selling points, using BEM is SUPER opinionated.

My guess? Quick-service car maintenance is profitable because they can be efficient. They have a guy at Jiffy Lube "below deck" so the car doesn't need to be jacked, lifted, or crawled under to start draining the oil. The sec

How do they open your gas tank? I think the most interesting part is their partnership with Firestone... On demand car servicing while you are at work seems like it solves a bigger problem than filling up with gas.

You still need to write the initial block of code. Advocating for non-custom elements just because it already exists in Bootstrap or Foundation is an easy way out, especially for UI uses. It doesn't matter how an element was created as

It's popular for display fonts and large headlines, there's been an influence of Swedish graphic design into the web lately and that's a common combination. Pretty effective for titles and headers with bold fonts.

Beautiful redesign! Very cool functionality with the inline editor and contextually revealed selectors. ...but they prevent you from right-clicking to open fonts in a new tab. I can already click into a font by regularly clicking, did they

Definitely looking in the wrong places, based on Middleman's more "lightweight" front-end audience. You'd probably get faster responses on Twitter.

Agree, Middleman + Middleman s3_sync is such an easy set up and deploy... Middleman project doesn't get enough love I think...

Agree, I have no problem with this. By not limiting these to government uses and ownership, you are only opening the door for malicious websites to fool users...

Django models are nice and easy to work with for the most part, and the template inheritance is great for building out front-ends. But there's a lot of "Django magic" that goes on behind the scenes so I tend to think of Djang

I was speaking to the more common 70-100 storefront mall in a typical 20 - 50,000 resident town across America. I don't doubt you at all - but I do think MoA is certainly an anomaly, as it's almost an amusement park in terms of at
