There isn't, but you can also sometimes deduce things you didn't do as well if they were apparent. Like, if you couldn't answer a bunch of questions or finish the task on time, and all the other interviews were good, there i

There are entire online social groups on discord of teens encouraging suicidal behavior with each other because of all the typical teen reasons. This stuff has existed for a while, but now it's AI flavored. IMO I think AI companies d

I found I couldn't listen to music with words in them while coding. Maybe try wordless music, or music that is in a language you don't understand.

It's pretty obvious, it's costly to make one that is up to the level of quality of commercial ones. It's not a mistake that the 2 mobile oses are owned and created by some of the largest and most profitable companies in the

Like a full sprite sheet, one sprite at a time or a sprite animation loop? Each one would require a different kind of model and model technique to make, so I wouldn't be surprised that ChatGPT has issues with it. A sprite animation lo

You see this dynamic even with swift which has a corpus of OSS source code out there, but not nearly as much as js or python and so has always been behind those languages.

Do they go into the architecture and code structure, or more just the user-facing result? Coding agents do a lot of copy-paste or near equivalents and make way too much code to accomplish many things.

You can also force the agent to write up a summary of the code change, reasoning, etc, fortunately, which can help with review.

Do you have many memories of that time, around 3 to 5, and remember what your cognitive processes were? When the child is afraid of the monster in the dark, they are not literally visually hallucinating a beast in the dark; they are worried

I also wonder why this isn't the go-to if you want to work in water-stressed places. Become a water distillation plant at the same time, have a win-win solution.

JSON-over-HTTP blobs. Or blobs of schemaless json. Not just XML, but a lot of other serialization formats and standards, like SOAP, protobuf in many cases, yaml, REST, etc. People say REST won, but tell me how many places actually implemen

No, because it's still significantly cheaper than any commercial option will be. You think the commercial place will charge less than 100 principle engineers to Google, lol no.

The idea is to make it cheaper to pay you than it is to do silly stuff. 1 principal engineer is a fart for these huge companies, but can be $500k-$3m/yr, which is huge for OSS projects. Small companies that are not big tech in the US

The top 3 things about bad weather places is water / moisture, dirt / sand and road salt. That causes extended wear and body damage over time which leads to cars not lasting as long as a population in the area. It's not th

You're missing the most significant lesson of all that MCP knew. That all of those featureful things are way too overcomplicated for most places, so they will gravitate to the simple thing. It's why JSON over HTTP blobs is king

Lets make a new license: If you wont hire me, use my library and make over $100m in revenue a year, you must pay a commercial license to use my software equivalent to the total cost (equity grants included) of an average principal engineer

You increase profits by expanding the amount of money put through the system, leading to a perverse incentive of ever increasing costs.

Billing and administration feels like a made up self own tho. A lot of that crap could just... not be done, as shown with the huge expansion of administration : medical dollar ratio in the past 50 years.

Partial DNA like 23&me does is so cheap to measure now, something like $20 wholesale and even less if you have very large scales, with a one time requirement to collect. In a decade, whole genome will be similarly cheap, it's $100

Creators avoid making their videos tagged as such because it significantly reduces their reach and promotion by the algorithm. So it doesn't matter if you still get paid by premium views, the chilling effect still exists.
