Obliviously you wouldn't want to use those words exact unless the audience is a bunch of philosophy mayors. But for example here [1] is a video of Chris Christie effectively calling out a somewhat similar technique from Marco Rubio. [1

I think the best response depends on whether you can want to persuade the person you are talking to or bystanders. Either you could call out the tactic or you could use something like non-violent communication.

Yeah, a friend referred me in July 2018. They have emailed me every two month since then. The subject line of their current email template says "[My friend] thinks you’ll pass Triplebyte’s coding quiz" and the email starts with &q

I'm sure that most people didn't expect major changes from pcs, the internet and smartphones before mass adoption. As this is a community tied to a startup incubator, I would encourage everyone here to keep an open mind.

I can't speak for other people, but the reason that I think we are in an AI boom has nothing to do with online advertising. It is that computers can now recognize images, translate language, have conversations, generate articles, make

You apparently seem to misunderstand what notebooks are good for. They are not only better than notepad, they are better than any IDE or vim/emacs for data exploration, data visualization and machine learning model development.

This comment is like the liar paradox, if people do what the comment suggests they are conforming to what another person tells them to do.

I would have guessed that the average person spends more time watching non-porn movies than porn and that non-porn streaming takes more bandwidth because it tends to be higher quality.

I hadn't used AWS in about 4 years, but I recently starting using it for a side project. I needed to process a big dataset and I wanted to use pyspark, so I gave EMR a try. I was impressed how easy it was seemingly to create clusters i

Exactly, I'm surprised that Peter Norvig who literally wrote the text book on AI didn't think of this and instead came up with this other explanation.

The myth that 20% time is dead was started by mchurch. He was at Google for six month and was let go. He then went on to bad mouth the company here and elsewhere online. 20% time at Google exists and managers are supposed to adjust the work
