Same here in Czech Republic - also true for most printed periodical. I've been on a tour of one of these repositories - it is super impressive & the staff takes it super seriously.

Yes, destroying books is a crime. Anyone who destroys a book is a criminal.

Or rather creditors scrapping AI datacenters once all the money burning "AI labs" are finally insolvent & repurposong the hardware into something actually useful for people, possibly on chip level with custom PCBs.

It is allvsmoke and mirrors - the memory makes know better than anyone this money burning party will end sooner or later, so they will milk it as hard as they can. They will also invest zero money to capacity that would sit idle once the &q

Exactly + you can harvest the HBM memory on chip level & resolder on custom boards usable in PCs as VRAM (with scavenged GPU) or as normal RAM sticks.

Good, they never break promises, so it should be fine. It also implies you can reconstruct personal information from the data. Perfect.

Yeah, I ment it as a joke - I agree with you. Watched the Gamers Nexus GPU investigation recently, where they were shown how a chinese soldering shop can transplant GPU chips to a new board, including memory chip reuse. Hopefully we can loo

I think GitHub itself could use a nice "Autofix" right about now. ;-)

Price wars did wonders for many businesses, like the bike sharing industry in China. Overgrown datacenters or mounds of GPUs dumped into the harbour next ?

Are they really making money from AI or just dumping resources on hoping they will be making money from it ?

Nad is that actually useful for something in the end ? Or just useless rewrites and insane code duplication/bundling/vendoring ?

So it has too many dependencies l, which are themselves also CVE magnets ? Maybe they could depend on less items that are more secure ?

Try the Zebra DelGuard mechanical pencil - they have a sophisticated system protection the lead, with springs and whatnot - even in 0.3 mm version, it is actually quite hard to break the tip of the lead, even intentionally.

As I a say - a movie demonstrated how it would wourk & look like. As humman spaceflight goes, spin gravity has not been demonstrated in space yet. IIRC they wanted to try that with Gemini, same as with an early jet-pack, never actually

You don't get why people would like to be in control of a powerful new technology before they build their stuff arround it ? Sure, there might be currently contraints, but I think it is quite possible training will get optimized over t

You can't really spin a small spacecraft to get rotation gravity - the rotation period would make it unworkable. However, you can connect two parts of your space craft with long cables and then spin the resulting contraption around its

Why is a flight longer than a month problem ? It will be much longer, more like half a year one way. On the other hand, uninterrupted (orbital) spaceflight record now stands at 437 days, so we know humans can do it.

Can it really explain the code if the information is not there anymore ? It was in a binder that got shredded 40 years ago by accident. More like it will hallucinate some explanation & cause even more confusion.

Seems quite sensible - good to see an institution woth some weight finally enforcing such basic principles that should have been universal - but money is of course more important for AI companies, making such regulation necessary.
