Most of the countrues you name would be totally insane if they are not already running clendestine nuclear wepons programs, especially South Korea & Japan. They are not going to wait for uncertain handouts in the future.

Oh, those magical "Nuclear launch codes" - that turned out to be set to 0000 in the US or used a bike key in the Brtisih case ? Turns out being able to actually use the weapon in an emergency tops the codes not working.

Yeah, that is exactly my issue with the game - they crammed so many mechanics into the game, but all of them are incredibly shallow & even unfinished. The RNG space is part of the problem - planets and biomes kinda start to repeat after

Well, not too easy but IMHO still doable, maybe after some training (a couple ready to build soldering projects). Both digital microscopes and precision soldering irons are rather cheap & widely available nowadays.
