Blue also has a cute little elephant robot that shows up later in the stream. :) BTW, while the pyrotechnic welding bolts are kinda neat, I do hope they come up with something else (electromagnets ?) eventually as it could be quite a hassle

Yeah, Frame already seems to do all the right tradeoffs for an early 2026 VR headset - has resolution similar to the Quest 3 AND has eye tracking, enabling very nice and useful eye tracking based optimizations for both rendering and streami

Sure, but there are already quite a few pretty nice looking games on Quest 3 running locally, so it can be done and should not be discounted as a gimmick. It has pretty important benefits - lowest possible latency & being able to just p

Yeah, already many people use something like the Bobovr alternative headstrap for the Quest3 that has an additional battery pack in the back, which helps balancing the device in the front.

BTW, Stallman and FSF have been saying this the whole time - if you become the only gatekeeper, don't be surprised when government people show up and force you to ban apps or users from your platform.

Given how antitrust is not really working right now I would say this is debatable. Also monopolies in the past were forced to do various things to keep their status for longer.

I still don't get this mindset - all is lost, I am not going to do anything aboit that AND I will punish them by going with the even worse option!

Well, those are pretty big companies already - not sure combining them together is really good idea, unless you want to end up with a lumbering inefficient local monopolist. I that regard I guess the anti-monopoly law is working ?
