Why is this not happening in non-swing states other than Virginia? And why does Biden's luck improve over time when _only_ mail in ballots are counted?

Biden only gets lucky in PA a full day after that if you look at vote share per batch, well after in-person votes are counted, and the later you go, the luckier he gets. The pattern is the same in every swing state except Arizona, and in Vi

And just like that, within a year pretty much all of Apple's lineup will become the best available platform for AI inference, since each and every one of the new machines will have a TPU.

Mind reading doesn't work. I was merely pointing out there doesn't seem to be safety data yet, and it will be required to deploy this widely. This is PR pure and simple. It doesn't mean that "we have a vaccine" quit

Everyone is excited about "90% efficacy", but nobody mentions the rate of side effects. Hmm. If this is injected into several billion people, twice into each person, wouldn't you want to know at least an estimate of the ratio

As an aside, BTW, I would not recommend setting up any business ventures in Russia at the moment. Rumors have been swirling that Putin has Parkinsons, and will announce his departure in January. Kremlin denies, of course, but Duma (Russian

There's no way to win there, under _any_ definition of "win". The British failed. The USSR failed. The US failed once already, and will fail again. We can fail after killing 600K and spending $3T. Or we can fail after killing

But that's the democrat narrative as of a week ago: vaccine by EOY is too dangerous. Suddenly, a week later the same exact vaccine is perfectly OK and it's a scientific triumph. Is the attention span of the public _this_ short?

But we funded and armed ISIS-affiliated groups to get rid of Assad. Unsuccessfully. Once we stopped funding and arming them, ISIS disappeared. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/jun/03/us-isi.

That's the thing, if your dataset is not similar to the dataset on which your model was pre-trained (which it often isn't), the initial weights may actually prove to be either worthless, or even detrimental. That is, they may be w

Trump was one of Big Pharma's biggest enemies and even got them to lower the drug prices. That was a big, big no-no. So it's no surprise that they hate him so much.

EfficientNet is extremely difficult to train: it took people months to replicate even a subset of original results from the paper, and for larger configs IIRC the results still haven't been replicated, same with EfficientDet - the dete

A lot of European states have a wealth tax as well as estate tax, which is not a good thing for an old dude worth $17B. Heck, it's not even a good deal for someone like me, if you run the numbers. Coincidentally, Eric Schmidt was a big
