You are wrong. Web applications written in languages like Python or Ruby will spend most of their time spinning the CPU instead of retrieving stuff from the database. There are languages that are just that slow.

I am disgusted every time I see a protest of pensioners or civil servants asking for even more money. It's practically buying votes. They truly are the privileged class.

But since workers won't get a raise, pensioners shouldn't either, since the money that they get comes from the pocket of those who work.

I assume that they will make it impossible for EU citizens to access the website like they did with rt.com without even a court order.

Last.fm was cool and had huge community but cbs bought it and rewrote it making it slower, clunkier and removing features, essentially destroying it. Back in the day practically all players (including spotify) had scrobbling support.

Who decides what is reprehensible? Before you say "common sense" or "the Western global elites", think twice.

Taking arbitrary submissions to the front page manually (without the necessary upvotes from users) and on top of that manipulating the timestamp so it looks like the submission is new and got there organically is bad.

Because it's their website and they prefer one to the other?
74.
▲

Because it's plain and simple manipulation. If it wasn't meant to manipulate the front page it wouldn't alter the timestamp.

I can confirm that the light of the F91W is very poor. I think that given the price difference it's not worth it to buy the F91W anymore.

What happens when you try to load http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt or http://www.msftconnecttest.com/connecttest.txt ? If they don't load for you you probably modified your install with shutup10, block

Because it's easier for a particular department to buy a domain than it is to tell whomever manages the microsoft.com domain to create a subdomain.

France allowed particular demographics to come to the country until they reached a critical mass and became dangerous. That shouldn't have happened.

>Btw, a dev build is in prod right now. Or someone forgot to minimize the JS. Tons of import map issues. That's the way it works. Maps aren't uploaded to production so they fail to load for you.

I assume all they'll do is block the websites so EU citizens can't reach them.
