Ok I know this is a bit of a controversial opinion. But I think the best repl is a Jupiter notebook. And this is also how you should use it. Why? 1. You actually have infinite repls where you can start a new one at any time and you don'

XPS 15 using newest Ubuntu. 100% happy. Just get the nongpu version. Also newest Ubuntu is important (22.04). Even bluetooth and open wifi works really well now haha. (Those were my biggest pain points)

Same experience. I think the most interesting and most public example of such a pipeline is Google/ building a search index. This is also where a lot of the methods originally came from. Nowadays a lot of this will be used to build rec

Housing is a basic human right and should be protected as such. However, housing in a prime location in a big city isn't one. There just isn't enough. The best method we have for distributing a luxury good with limited supply and

Depending on the codebase of course. But for me, mapping out the datastructures and understanding their relations helps the most.

I really like it. I accidentally tried a clean YouTube the other day and I was shocked what bs is on there. However, the quality of the educational videos is just getting better and better imo. Also I never look at my subscriptions anymore

Met my previous co-founder and now one of my best friends through the Machine Learning reddit talking about Using Embeddings for medical Diagnosis codes ~2017. So I can attest to "putting yourself out there".

Yea true, but its a fine line to something like copilot, since it also can be thought of as a search engine, however it has your whole code (and maybe your past behavior too) as its context, hard to beat.

People use it for production. It is thought for internal use but you can also make it external. So we have used it for about 1.5 years for semi critical stuff. To be honest we had some reliability issue and one where actually wrong requests

I am using Retool for that. Pretty happy. It is true drag and drop. Looks decent and there has been nothing I couldn't build with it.

Hey so, I have been working on a specialized search engine (at least you can think of it in this way). And for me a lot of the gains came because we could structure and restrain the search space in a meaningful way, such that we could build

Actually, I quite like it. Especially for these repetitive things one can forget. Stuff like there is a deleted field in one table, usually you would write an sql query like .filter(table.deleted==False) nothing complicated, but one

Its a completely crazy process but it works roughly like this: (going from RDS Postgres on 12.6 to Aurora Serverless V2) 1. You create a snapshot of your original db 2. You update that snapshot to 13.4 (NOT 13.6!!) 3. You have to use the A
