Which is a totally understandable reaction, since you overstepped a line and pretended you have the right to judge others. In my book, you only have the right to do this with your children, until they are 18 or something. After that, you

Those of "us" which think content creators should be paid buy music on BandCamp, donate to open source projects, follow folks on Patreon, or whatever. I submit nobody is actually consuming ads voluntarily. Its like stockholm syn

Whats wrong about "almost ended" or, "vastly reduced"? I feel manipulated when I see "virtually ended".

Hmm, this is great food for thought! I am working on a Haskell based REPL for GPT, called GPTi[1] which might benefit from this approach. [1] https://github.com/mlang/gpti

If you belief the meme that every critic is automatic a lunatic, talking to you about this issue is in vain. The media has definitely been used to transport a narrative, and did not work independently during the covid crisis. If you belie

Sure, trust in centralized hierarchies as much as you like. IMO, the problem is more linked to missing accountability then trust in whatever system is called establishment. A single doctor is enough to do a lot of harm. If we, as a socie

So you are comparing idiots that fall for "financial advice" on youtube to pregnant women who were given a radioactive cocktail without knowing about it? You seem to confirm that everyone has different sort of values...

I am not surprised. I was abused for a medical experiment at the age of 6, around 1985. This stuff still happens, but if you talk about it, people tend to not want to believe you, for their own peace of mind.

I doubt there is much of a difference between typical brainless human management, and AI management. Maybe AI is even better, that is at least likely.

We live in a world were the "Ministry of Truth" is actually a reality, backed by activists and SJWs. In a sense, that is Crowd-Funded Orwellianism.

I had Emacs running as PID 1 inside of an initramfs roughly around 2010. Had a part of sysvinit reimplemented in Emacs Lisp, for things like ALSA and networking. Kernel + initramfs was roughly 200MB IIRC.
