I found that I can adapt to any display size. I used to have an iPhone 5s which I replaced with a 6s Plus and a 7 Plus. Recently I have changed my mind and I wanted a compact phone again to carry less weight and to distract me less. I thoug

I found the biggest difference to be the display. I changed from iPhone 7 Plus to iPhone 13 mini. From 7 on the display is wide color and the newer phones are all OLED with true blacks. They’re impressive. Another big difference is 5G. I ca

I want to add to the discussion that whenever I search for any kind of discussion topic on the internet I search on Google and add "-reddit" to it! I hate the reddit-style low-effort void anti-discussions. It's unreadable. I

No, that’s so sad! You’re my favorite writer at Anandtech! I was loading the main page of Anandtech every few days to see if you wrote a new article!

But how did you pay for your livelihood at 11$/h? That costs in the end more than what you make! I was in a similar situation, but I quit because the job was costing me more money (paying for transit and food) than I was earning.

“Decades old” means the software must be at least 20 years old, thus from 2001 or older. According to the BBC, this came preinstalled on some Dell laptops in 2010. How can it be “decades old”??

No. I can guarantee you that in general in software engineering, you will produce the same result, whether you work 30 or 40 or 60 hr a week. The productive hours will be the same as you just have so much focused hours inside of you.

You’re giving up 0 of peak single thread performance. A single core in turbo across Intel and AMD, mobile and desktop uses max 50W.

Your webpage, in particular the barely visible animated background of it, consumes 100% of GPU on my 2012 Macbook Pro. This is bad website design from an energy point of view.

Isn’t the 15W CPU strongly limiting compared to the 28/W45W CPU in Apple’s lineup?

I’ve drinken kava myself and I recommend it over alcohol. It gives an immediate clarity in the head and an overall very pleasant music-like feeling. The thoughts in the head get unstuck. I recommend you to try it as well.
