I think a lot of the interesting keyboards are really small series, and such things cost - there is such thing as "economy of scale". The cheapest KB I've built myself was a Kyria for just over 200 EUR with cheap keycaps but

I am into the mechkebs as a hobby (have a KA2, Kyria, Model01, Redox and parts for Dactyl Manuform laying around) but it the first time I've ever heard of Drop, fwiw. I think that mechanical keyboards are an interesting (if expensive)

Productivity hit and frustration, I would say. Motor learning is hard, since it takes a lot of repetitions. Motor re-learning is arguably much harder, since you have an interference of learned and new patterns. Keyboard familiarity is also

I have in a 140k city 500/50, up to 1000/50 are possible. No caps, 47 EUR/month. It is not stellar, but certainly more than enough for my needs. I would say Germany was hurt a lot though the de-facto monopoly of the Telekom a

I was a linux and freebsd user in my younger days for a decade, until I switched to macOS. Now I am approaching my 40s and I would never do a customisation craze of my younger days, where I would spend time selecting a wallpaper and themes

I am by no means an expert in pharmaceutical studies, but I suppose they can afford a huge number of dead ends in the initial phase of research due to the massive wealth and in the end, they have to test only for two variables: efficiency a

Having done a neuroscience degree myself, I would double on your conclusion — I still have no clue how a brain works, apart of some simpler systems, like visual pattern recognition. I am out of the field for a single-digit number of years a

At least on the mac I do not use the german layout at all. For typing an Umlaut I type instead Opt(Alt) + 'u' to get an ¨-sign, then I type a/o/u to get the letter. The same with ß - just Opt + 's'. It is may

Writing AS is not a pleasant experience, I agree. IMO, it was internally abandoned long time. There was a push to move the automation framework to JS with JSX, but after the initial half-broken release nothing came and as far as I understan

I am a bit split on that one. I see the convenience of using the app store, but I try to buy directly if I can. I lot of tools for power users have problems with scripting when containerized, direct purchases are much more convenient if I n
