Check out the Unison programming language ( https://www.unisonweb.org/ ). The codebase exists as a database instead of raw text. It has the clever ideas of having code be content, and be immutable. From these 2 properties, mo

Politics is about where we go. Tech is about how we arrive there. If you disagree on the direction we are headed, discussing different ways to arrive there seems pointless. You may agree with the status-quo politics, but other people don&#x

I recently got to experience a 240hz IPS monitor. Colors and viewing angles are way better than the 120hz TN monitor i had in the past. That said, even at 240hz, motion is still blurry. If i move a window and try to read text in it in motio

Drag a window around on your monitor. Can you read its title when it's moving? This is what it's about: clarity in motion. You assume that average modern monitors are in the 95 percentile and suffering from diminishing returns fro

I'm the main contributor of an app that emulates Windows's alt-tab feature on macOS ( https://github.com/lwouis/alt-tab-macos ). I researched this topic extensively, and eventually decided that I would bite the

Indeed I tried and even though I can get a switch without any frame of UI showing, it is very hard to press and release fast enough. It's not a delay like I implemented, but most likely the UI being terminated before the next frame, so

Could you possibly open a ticket for this performance issue? If you attach OS version, hardware specs, system load, it may be possible to reproduce and get to the bottom of this. Another strategy would be for you to try HyperSwitch ( https:
