Pleasantly surprised that their Bitcoin donation route is as busy as it is. ~20BTC+ over 700 transactions ain't chump change!

Negative consequences/feedback from their social group tend to do the job quite nicely, in most of the cases :-) To paraphrase the old comedian Will Rogers, there's always been three kinds of people in this world: those who learn

You have to tailor the message to the audience. In my family/original community (before moving out west), I was considered 'moderate' at best on firearms. For this crowd and the West Coast in general, I (like GP) am conside

As others have said, it's a pretty generic JD. Definitely consider hiring remote (your candidate pool goes WAY up), but also consider putting the salary _range_ in place to help weed out folks who will waste your time with requirement

I note from the article: "Mr. Kaplow has tried everything he can think of to find workers, placing Craigslist ads, asking other franchisees for referrals, seeking to hire people from Subways that have closed." it does not say

I've gotten a fair amount of pushback on deploying Meraki specifically because of its cloud-based configuration tools. The SMB sites I deploy wifi to push back on their config living 'in the cloud', and the annual Meraki sub

To answer the author's question, "why do these molecules promote boundless love", it is selection bias. There's surely molecules that produce abject, existential, pants-filling terror, but those molecules dont get shared

I think Johnathan Friedland is really wishing right now that his comments were evaluated within the context of the content of his character, and not the context of the color of his skin.

I have Business. I request a /56. It gives me a /60. I try to partition that out into subnets, but prefix-delegation (PD) fails at that point.

Comcast is my biggest blocker to IPv6 adoption. I maintain a static v4 block with them, they tell me I have to give that up if I want a v6 block. Until I give up v4, v6 works on my network right up to the Comcast modem, and is promptly dr

Minor nit to pick, freedom can absolutely be both bought and brute-forced. We call them (less-relevant example in modern times) "buying yourself out of slavery" and (slightly more relevant) "war".

That'll get you the code, the branches, and the commit history. There can be a fair amount of metadata and other non-Git-but-still-gitlab-equivalent stuff like Issues, wikis, etc, and that's what the importer process brings over.

Some of us are old enough to remember Microsoft of the 90's and early aughties. "Embrace, Extend, Extinguish" was the name of the game then, many of us haven't forgiven Microsoft for that yet (and nor do we plan to).
